METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REPORTING CAPABILITY INFORMATION OF USER EQUIPMENT

Provided are a method and apparatus for reporting capability information of a user equipment, which belong to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: generating capability information of a UE, the capability information comprising at least one reporting class, each reporting class indicating one carrier aggregation level and corresponding to multiple band combinations (BCs), and each BC corresponding to one band, wherein each first reporting class from among at least one first reporting class from among the at least one reporting class corresponds to multiple BCs, the sequence of which is adjustable; and reporting the capability information of the UE.
