STRUCTURE FOR POSITIONING PRESSURE SENSOR ON SEAT, AND VEHICLE SEAT

Provided is a structure which is for positioning a pressure sensor on a seat, and which can accurately detect that a passenger is seated in a seat and improve the seating comfort of the passenger. A structure for positioning a pressure sensor (1) on a seat (10) equipped with a cushion pad (12), wherein the pressure sensor (1): is composed of a push-switch; is positioned in a location that is on the lower-surface (12B) side of a cushion pad (12), and in which, if a passenger is seated in the seat (10), the lower surface (12B) of the cushion pad (12) press-contacts and depresses the push-switch; and is positioned in a location such that said pressure sensor (1) avoids a wire (19) that is disposed in the centre in the left-right direction of the seat (10) and extends in the front-rear direction.
