METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CARRYING OUT TRANSACTIONS WITH THE AID OF A REVERSAL MECHANISM

The invention relates to a method and system for carrying out transactions with the aid of a reversal mechanism. The technical result is the implementation of a reversal mechanism during the processing of transaction requests. The claimed method comprises the following steps: receiving, in the channel of a self-service device, a user request for execution of a cash withdrawal transaction; analyzing the request and verifying the feasibility of the requested cash withdrawal transaction; transmitting information about the transaction from the self-service device to a remote server to activate a reversal management mechanism; making a first attempt to execute the transaction, in which the availability of the required cash in the self-service device is verified; determining a shortfall or excess of cash available in the self-service machine for withdrawal; determining the amount of cash available in the self-service device for withdrawal; activating execution of a partial or complete reversal, in which a repeat attempt is made to execute a transaction with a smaller or larger amount of cash being made ready for withdrawal; receiving a user input regarding execution of a transaction according to the activated reversal mode; carrying out the transaction according to said activated reversal mode.
