Specifically, the present invention provides compositions and methods for treating a subject having a disorder or condition associated with aberrant cardiac tissue function, comprising contacting a patient having a disorder or condition associated with aberrant cardiac tissue function with a construct, or a construct associated with therapeutic cells, or a construct associated with fibroblast cells and therapeutic cells.
