The invention relates to a glass support by contact with the lower face thereof and without contact with the upper face thereof, comprising a frame and a plurality of supporting elements connected to the frame and each comprising a pad, each pad comprising a contact zone for supporting the glass so that the surface of the contact zone is parallel to the locally supported zone of the glass, said contact zone being made of a material capable of engaging with the glass at a temperature of 400°C to 600°C, the surface of the contact zone having a surface area of 50 mm2 to 20000 mm2, at least one supporting element, referred to as movable supporting element, comprising a mobility member of the pad, modifying the orientation of the contact zone of the pad and/or damping the reception of the glass under the effect of the weight of the glass at the time when it is received by the support. L'invention concerne un support de verre par contact avec sa face inférieure et sans contact avec sa face supérieure, comprenant un châssis et une pluralité d'éléments de soutien reliés au châssis et comprenant chacun un patin, chaque patin comprenant une zone de contact pour supporter le verre de sorte que la surface de la zone de contact soit parallèle à la zone localement portée du verre, ladite zone de contact étant en un matériau apte à venir au contact du verre à une température comprise entre 400 et 600°C, la surface de la zone de contact étant d'aire comprise entre 50 et 20000 mm2, au moins un élément de soutien, dit élément de soutien mobile, comprenant un organe de mobilité du patin, modifiant l'orientation de la zone de contact du patin et/ou amortissant la réception du verre sous l'effet du poids du verre au moment de sa réception par le support.
