Zusammenfassung:	This invention relates to thermally-treating and hydroprocessing pyrolysis tar to produce a hydroprocessed pyrolysis tar, but without excessive foulant accumulation during the hydroprocessing. The invention also relates to upgrading the hydroprocessed tar by additional hydroprocessing; to products of such processing; to blends comprising one or more of such products; and to the use of such products and blends, e.g., as lubricants, fuels, and/or constituents thereof. La présente invention concerne le traitement thermique et l'hydrotraitement de goudron de pyrolyse, dans le but de produire un goudron de pyrolyse hydrotraité, mais sans accumulation excessive d'encrassement pendant l'hydrotraitement. L'invention concerne aussi la valorisation, par un hydrotraitement additionnel, du goudron hydrotraité; des produits de ce traitement; des mélanges comprenant un ou plusieurs de ces produits; et l'utilisation de ces produits et mélanges, par exemple en tant que lubrifiants, combustibles et/ou constituants de ces derniers.
