This composition is advantageous in that it is highly resistant to external physical stresses. L'invention concerne un pneumatique pourvu d'un flanc externe, ledit flanc externe comprenant une composition de caoutchouc à base d'au moins, un ou plusieurs élastomères diéniques, une cire anti-ozone à un taux supérieur à 8 pce, une charge renforçante à un taux compris entre 30 et 75 pce, un plastifiant liquide à 23°C à un taux compris entre 5 et 40 pce, et un système de réticulation. Cette composition présente l'avantage de résister fortement aux agressions physiques extérieures.
