ELECTRODE FIXATION IN INTERVENTIONAL MEDICAL SYSTEMS

An implantable medical device assembly includes a mounting structure, an electrode protruding from a surface of the structure, between opposing sides thereof, and tissue-penetrating fixation tines, each extending from a corresponding shoulder of the structure surface, adjacent to the opposing sides. In a relaxed condition, each tine extends away from the surface and then bends toward a proximal end of the structure and back toward the surface. In an extended condition, each tine bends toward a distal end of the structure and extends along the corresponding shoulder. L'invention concerne un ensemble dispositif médical implantable comprenant une structure de montage, une électrode faisant saillie à partir d'une surface de la structure entre des côtés opposés de celle-ci, et des crochets de fixation pénétrant dans un tissu, chacun s'étendant à partir d'un épaulement correspondant de la surface de structure, adjacent aux côtés opposés. Dans un état relâché, chaque crochet s'étend en s'éloignant de la surface puis se courbe vers une extrémité proximale de la structure et revient vers la surface. Dans un état étendu, chaque crochet se courbe vers une extrémité distale de la structure et s'étend le long de l'épaulement correspondant.
