Zusammenfassung:	A floating swimming net cage and a control method thereof. The net cage comprises a floating net cage (1) having an opening at the top, the floating net cage being provided with a supporting component for enhancing structural strength; the supporting component comprises a float (2) for generating buoyancy; a covering unit (3) is provided above the opening of the floating net cage; tubular products (26) are symmetrically and fixedly provided on two sides of the bottom of the floating net cage; airbags are provided in the tubular products. The control method comprises: detecting a water feeding condition of the float by means of a control terminal and a water sensor, and starting a corresponding air pumping unit for inflating the airbags, so as to lift up the float; moreover, sending an alarming signal to the field and a remote server and making emergency preparations.
