In one embodiment, the message forwarding method comprises: a first network apparatus receives a data message sequence to be forwarded, and determines that a quantity of available member links in a forwarding link group is less than a quantity of minimum active links, and the link group comprises a member link having signal degradation SD and being partially available; and the first network transmits, via the link group, the data message sequence to be forwarded. In the embodiment of the application, when the quantity of the available member links in the link group is insufficient, the member link having signal degradation SD and being partially available can be employed to prevent the link group from stopping operations.
