COVER SLIP ADHERING DEVICE

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a cover slip adhering device whereby compatibility between types of clearing agents and cover slips can be improved. As a means for solving the problem, the present invention is provided with: an immersion tank (21) for storing a slide glass (22) to which a specimen sample is affixed, the slide glass (22) being immersed in a clearing agent; a holder (11) having a cover slip (10) and cover slip information (14); a mounting unit (C) for mounting the holder (11); an adhesion unit (B) for adhering a cover slip (10) removed from the holder (11) to the slide glass (22); a reading unit (62) for reading the covers slip information (14); a storage unit (65) in which the type of clearing agent and compatibility information as to compatibility of the type of clearing agent and the type of cover slip are stored; and a determination unit (66) for comparing the cover slip information (14) read by the reading unit (62) and the clearing agent type and compatibility information stored in the storage unit (65) and determining whether the cover slip and the clearing agent are compatible or incompatible.
