Cette invention concerne un procédé de modification de la forme de la section transversale d'au moins une partie d'un textile ayant une forme de section transversale différente, au moyen d'une tension, d'un mouvement radial et facultativement de la chaleur. L'invention concerne en outre un appareil pour la mise en œuvre de ce procédé, ainsi qu'un produit fabriqué à l'aide de celui-ci.
