| Zusammenfassung: | A method and a device for playing video data, the method comprising: determining whether to receive a channel switching command, the channel switching command being used for switching the currently played channel, the channel switching command comprising a remote control data channel switching command; if it is determined to receive the channel switching command, determining whether a channel corresponding to the channel switching command is the predicted channel; if it is determined that a channel corresponding to the channel switching command is the predicted channel, acquiring and decoding pre-stored play data corresponding to the channel switching command; and if it is determined that it is necessary to switch to a channel corresponding to the channel switching command, playing the decoded play data.
