Provided is an attachment 1 which is for a hair dryer and is mounted to a blow-out port of the hair dryer in a detachable manner, the attachment 1 being provided with: a cylindrical hood member 10 which has, on the base end side, a mounting part 14 for mounting to the blow-out port, and of which the tip end side is opened; and a cylindrical holding member 20 supported coaxially inside the hood member 10 so as to create a gap between the holding member 20 and the inside surface of the hood member 10.
