Disclosed is a method for controlling an intelligent terminal device via a cloud desktop. The method applied to a cloud desktop access system comprises configuring a first public network IP, accessing a public network using the first public network IP, and establishing, according to the public network, a connection with an access system of an intelligent terminal device; configuring a first private network IP, and establishing a connection with a cloud desktop using the first private network IP; and receiving, according to the connection established with the cloud desktop, a control instruction sent by the cloud desktop, and sending the control instruction to the access system of the intelligent terminal device via the public network, so that the access system of the intelligent terminal device performs, according to the control instruction, a control operation on an intelligent remote terminal device.
