Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to radio navigation and can be used in local navigation systems and networks for controlling the movement of mobile objects in local navigation zones. The method consists in generating, on a navigated object, two high frequency harmonic signals having the same strength and different frequencies, simultaneously emitting the signals and receiving same at several radio navigational reference points with known coordinates, generating difference frequency signals at said points from the high frequency signals received from the navigated object, transmitting the difference frequency signals generated to a central processing point, and measuring the phase differences of the difference frequency signals arriving from different pairs of radio navigational reference points, wherein, prior to emission, one of the high frequency harmonic signals to be emitted is phase modulated by a periodic rectangular pulse sequence with a phase deviation of 180°, as a result of which it is converted into a binary phase-modulated signal, the binary phase-modulated difference frequency signals received from each radio navigational reference point are phase detected at the central processing point using, as reference signals for phase detection, non-modulated difference frequency signals obtained from said binary phase-modulated signals, the modulating rectangular pulse sequence is identified and the phase differences of the identified pulse sequences are measured for each pair of radio navigational reference points and the results of these measurements, together with the results of the corresponding phase difference measurements of modulated difference frequency signals, are converted into coordinates of the navigated object, wherein the modulated difference frequency signals are generated from binary phase-modulated difference frequency signals by converting same by non-linear inertia-free conversion, identifying the second harmonic of the converted signal and dividing the frequency by two.
