Zusammenfassung:The objective of the invention is to provide a battery pack housing structure such that when housing a battery pack, the battery pack can be positioned to a pre-fitting position without the need be to maintained by hand or the like until the end. This battery pack housing structure is in an electronic apparatus having a housing portion for housing the battery pack, and is equipped with a battery cover covering the housing portion wherein the battery pack has been housed. The battery pack is approximately rectangular and flatly shaped, and has connection terminals provided on a first lateral surface, and battery pack lateral surface protrusions provided on a second lateral surface and on a third lateral surface, which are adjacent to the first lateral surface. The housing portion comprises: a bottom surface adapted to the lower surface of the battery pack; housing portion connection terminals provided on a first housing portion lateral surface which is a lateral surface adapted to the first lateral surface; and housing portion lateral surface protrusions provided on a second housing portion lateral surface, which is a lateral surface adapted to the second lateral surface, and on a third housing portion lateral surface, which is a lateral surface adapted to the third lateral surface, respectively, and capable of engaging the battery pack lateral surface protrusions. The battery cover has cover lower surface protrusions respectively provided on an edge portion lower surface adapted to the second housing portion lateral surface, and on an edge portion lower surface adapted to the third housing portion lateral surface. Each of the housing portion lateral surface protrusions is provided with a sloping portion where the corresponding battery pack lateral surface protrusion abuts. Prior to being positioned at the fitting position in the electronic apparatus, when the battery pack protrusions on the second lateral surface and on the third lateral surface abut the respective sloping portions, the battery pack slides down along the sloping portions, and becomes positioned at the pre-fitting position.
