La présente invention concerne une méthode permettant de détecter la mammite subclinique par comparaison des valeurs obtenues par comptage des types de sous-cellules, notamment les cellules neutrophiles, macrophages et somatiques, présentes dans du lait animal, et par établissement des proportions de celles-ci entre elles, à l'aide de valeurs de seuil prédéfinies.
