The present invention provides, as a first invention, an expandable screen type mobile terminal that is reversely folded, the mobile terminal comprising: a first screen unit having a body and a first screen serving as one surface of the body; a second screen unit having two or more housings on which a second screen configured with a flexible display device is installed, the size of the second screen being selectively expanded by a relative motion between the two or more housings, wherein the second screen unit is provided on the back side of the body to overlap the body in the thickness direction, and one side of the body is hingedly coupled with one side of one of the two or more housings such that the second screen unit is horizontally arranged by a reverse folding motion to make the first and second screens viewable at the same time; and a control unit controlling the sizes and arrangement of images displayed on the first and second screens according to the arrangement state of the first and second screen units.
