The promotional information pushing method is applied to a terminal, and comprises the following steps: obtaining user behaviour data of a user using the terminal; analysing the obtained user behaviour data to obtain behaviour information about the user and/or behaviour access object information about the user; determining an information type of the obtained behaviour information about the user and/or behaviour access object information about the user; searching for promotional information corresponding to the determined information type from a promotional information base saved by itself; and pushing the sought promotional information to the user.
