Zusammenfassung:	It is disclosed a method to print durable and high contrast identification codes, indicia and figures on an animal tag. The method is characterized by printing an ink on a polymeric substrate of the animal tag, the step of printing being executed with inkjet printing technique and the ink being a UV-curable ink including pigments, wherein the ink is UV cured after inkjet printing, to become integral part of the polymeric substrate. L'invention concerne un procédé d'impression de codes, d'indices et de symboles d'identification durables et à contraste élevé sur une bague de marquage d'animal. Le procédé est caractérisé par l'impression d'une encre sur un substrat polymère de la bague de marquage d'animal, l'étape d'impression étant exécutée avec une technique d'impression à jet d'encre et l'encre étant une encre durcissable aux UV comprenant des pigments, l'encre étant durcie aux UV après impression à jet d'encre, de façon à faire partie intégrante du substrat polymère.
