La présente invention concerne : une composition pharmaceutique de type hydrogel permettant de prévenir ou de traiter l'onychomycose, contenant de l'urée, de l'acide fumarique, du 1,3-butylèneglycol, un polymère formant un gel, un agent de réticulation, et 45 à 60 % en poids d'eau, et présentant des capacités kératolytiques et de rétention de l'humidité ; et un procédé de préparation associé.
