DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR HEATING RESPIRATORY CONDUIT

The present invention provides a system for heating a respiratory conduit positioned between a PAP device and a patent interface, wherein the system comprises: a first thermistor encapsulated within the conduit proximal to a first end of the conduit which is proximal to the patient interfaces; a second thermistor encapsulated within the conduit proximal to a second end of the conduit which is proximal to the PAP device; a heater is encapsulated within the conduit; and wherein the first and second thermistor are electrically isolated from the heater within the conduit. La présente invention concerne un système permettant de chauffer un conduit respiratoire positionné entre un dispositif de PAP et une interface de patient, ledit système comprenant : une première thermistance encapsulée à l'intérieur du conduit à proximité d'une première extrémité du conduit qui se trouve à proximité des interfaces de patient ; une seconde thermistance encapsulée à l'intérieur du conduit à proximité d'une seconde extrémité du conduit qui se trouve à proximité dudit dispositif de PAP ; un élément chauffant encapsulé à l'intérieur du conduit ; et lesdites première et seconde thermistances étant isolées électriquement de l'élément chauffant à l'intérieur du conduit.
