Zusammenfassung:	A unitary core panel for a composite sandwich structure includes a plurality of cell walls defining a plurality of core cells, the plurality of cell walls extending across a thickness of the core, the plurality of core cells including one or more defined structural nonuniformities resulting in nonuniform properties of the core panel. A method of forming a core panel for a composite sandwich structure includes determining structural requirements of the core panel, designing the core panel to satisfy the structural requirements with one or more local nonuniformities in the core panel, and manufacturing the core panel as a unitary core panel with the one or more local nonuniformities. La présente invention concerne un panneau de noyau unitaire pour une structure sandwich composite, ledit panneau comprenant une pluralité de parois de cellules définissant une pluralité de cellules de noyau, la pluralité de parois de cellule s'étendant à travers une épaisseur du noyau, la pluralité de cellules de noyau comprenant un ou plusieurs irrégularités structurelles définies résultant des propriétés non uniformes du panneau de noyau. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de formation d'un panneau de noyau pour une structure sandwich composite, ledit procédé consistant à déterminer des exigences structurelles du panneau de noyau, à concevoir le panneau de noyau pour répondre aux exigences structurelles avec une ou plusieurs irrégularités locales dans le panneau de noyau, et à fabriquer le panneau de noyau sous la forme d'un panneau de noyau unitaire comportant la ou les irrégularités locales.
