INFORMATION PROVIDING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

The present invention relates to an information providing system for a vehicle. The present invention comprises: a wireless signal detecting unit for detecting an external wireless signal transmitted and received from outside a vehicle; a driving information-providing complex terminal; and a user wireless terminal connected through a short range wireless communication technique to the driving information-providing complex terminal, and mediating communication between the driving information-providing complex terminal and an operating server installed in a remote location. The driving information-providing complex terminal: refers to a terminal-side safety information DB in which signal identification information including specific wireless signal frequency information and pattern information corresponds to first warning information and is saved, and outputs first warning information corresponding to an external wireless signal transmitted from the wireless signal detecting unit; matches detection information on the external wireless signal to position information on the vehicle, and generates and stores signal detected situation information; and includes a black box unit for acquiring and storing image information on the vehicle. According to the present invention, collected information relating to the driving of a vehicle can be organically blended and provided to the driver, required software and databases can be wirelessly updated in real time, and spatial safety limits related to the driving of vehicles can be expanded through the sharing of information in real time between users.
