The present invention relates to Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) antagonist compounds, and pharmaceutical formulations thereof, and use thereof for prevention and treatment of autoimmune liver diseases including but not limited to autoimmune hepatitis. La présente invention concerne de nouvelles utilisations médicales de morphinanes tels que la naltrexone, le nalméfène et leurs dérivés apparentés. La présente invention concerne des composés antagonistes du récepteur de type Toll 4 (TLR4), et et des formulations pharmaceutiques de ceux-ci, ainsi que l'utilisation de ceux-ci pour la prévention et le traitement des maladies hépatiques auto-immunes, notamment mais non exclusivement, l'hépatite auto-immune.
