AUTOMATIC DISCOVERY METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPTICAL CABLE ROUTE

The present invention relates to an automatic discovery method and system for an optical cable route. The method comprises: a source light power meter automatically monitoring an attenuation value of an optical cable fibre core; the optical cable fibre core being configured in an optical cable route; when the power meter gives an alarm, determining an optical power alarm level, and feeding back an alarm state of the optical cable route in real time; and a drive automatically searching for an available optical cable route, and providing a selection of available optical cable routes for real-time allocation of services. The present invention not only manages all the services in a system and information about the optical cable route used by the services, but also monitors the optical cable fibre core in the system in real time.
