La présente invention concerne des compositions et des procédés pour détecter des micro-ARN spécifiques des motoneurones dans une population de cellules ou un sujet. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne la détection de micro-ARN spécifiques des motoneurones pour détecter et traiter des maladies des motoneurones associées à la dysrégulation de micro-ARN spécifiques des motoneurones, telles que la sclérose latérale amyotrophique (SLA).
