Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a product and fabrication method for a varistor comprising a solid phase of zinc oxide particles substantially uniformly dispersed within a resin media. The varistor of the present invention is synthesised by mixing a substantially homogenous mixture of solid zinc oxide particles and a resin media, and heating the mixture under conditions to melt the resin and suspend the solid zinc oxide particles therein. La présente invention concerne un produit et un procédé de fabrication pour une varistance comprenant une phase solide de particules d'oxyde de zinc dispersées d'une manière sensiblement uniforme à l'intérieur d'un milieu résineux. La varistance de la présente invention est synthétisée par mélange d'un mélange sensiblement homogène de particules d'oxyde de zinc solides et d'un milieu résineux, et chauffage du mélange dans des conditions permettant de faire fondre la résine et d'y suspendre les particules d'oxyde de zinc solides.
