SERVICE PERFORMANCE MONITORING IN A VIRTUALIZED COMMUNICATION NETWORK

A method, in a first bearer-processing node of a multi-node bearer path in a data session, for monitoring an overall performance of the data session, wherein at least the first bearer- processing node in the multi-node bearer path is a virtualized network function, VNF, is disclosed. The method comprises: obtaining a first performance metric related to the data session, the first performance metric related to the data session including information related to an infrastructure supporting the virtualized network function; and sending the first performance metric including the information related to the infrastructure, over the multi-node bearer path, for use in determining the overall performance related to the data session. A network node for carrying this method is also disclosed. La présente invention concerne un procédé, dans un premier nœud de traitement de support d'un trajet de support multinœud dans une session de données, destiné à la surveillance d'une performance globale de la session de données, au moins le premier nœud de traitement dans le trajet de support multinœud étant une fonction de réseau virtualisé, VNF. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant : à obtenir d'un premier indicateur de performance se rapportant à la session de données, le premier indicateur de performance se rapportant à la session de données comprenant des informations se rapportant à une infrastructure prenant en charge la fonction de réseau virtualisé ; et à envoyer le premier indicateur de performance comprenant les informations se rapportant à l'infrastructure, sur le trajet de support multinœud, destiné à être utilisé dans la détermination de la performance globale se rapportant à la session de données. L'invention concerne en outre un nœud de réseau destiné à la mise en œuvre de ce procédé.
