DISPOSABLE MOUTHPIECE TO WHICH IONTOPHORESIS IS APPLIED

The present invention relates to a disposable mouthpiece to which iontophoresis is applied and, more particularly, to a mouthpiece provided for a single use during oral anesthesia or fluoride solution treatment by using iontophoresis. The mouthpiece disclosed in the present invention has a curved accommodating groove formed from the front thereof to the rear thereof so as to cover the gums, and sterile cotton, which is provided by being impregnated with an oral anesthetic or a fluoride solution drug, is embedded in the accommodating groove of the mouthpiece. An elastic wire is embedded in the center part of the sterile cotton in a curved shape so as to have elasticity such that the sterile cotton is pressed to and brought into close contact with the gums, and the outer periphery of the sterile cotton is covered with nonwoven fabric so as to form a curved shape such that the sterile cotton is placed in the accommodating groove of the mouthpiece. The elastic wire is also laid out on the bottom surface of the mouthpiece so as to maintain a uniform shape while pressing the bottom surface thereof, and one side of the wire laid out on the bottom surface is connected to the wire embedded in the sterile cotton and the other side of the wire is connected to a power supply of a device providing an iontophoresis effect, thereby implementing iontophoresis and obtaining a dental treatment effect.
