METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SETTING BACKGROUND OF UI CONTROL AND TERMINAL

Disclosed are a method and device for setting the background of a UI control. The method comprises: after the wallpaper of a terminal is updated, acquiring a blurry wallpaper of the updated wallpaper after blurring; extracting an area block of the wallpaper from the acquired blurry wallpaper according to the position of the UI control on a screen of the terminal; and setting the extracted area block of the wallpaper as the background of the UI control. By means of embodiments of the present invention, the background of the UI control of the terminal dynamically changes with the wallpaper, and the flexibility and variability of the background image of the UI control are enhanced.
