CELL BANDWIDTH CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS

The present invention relates to a cell bandwidth control method and apparatus. The method comprises the following steps: a charging network element performs statistics for a total bandwidth of a first cell, wherein the first cell is a cell needing bandwidth control; when the total bandwidth of the first cell reaches a preset bandwidth control threshold value, the charging network element performs service identification on a received service packet sent by a first user, wherein the first user is a user in the first cell; and the charging network element matches a service identification result of the service packet with a set service control rule, and if the service identification result matches the set service control rule, the service packet is continuously transmitted; otherwise, bandwidth control is performed on the service packet.
