APPARATUS FOR REAL-TIME INTERACTIVE TRANSMISSION OF MEDICAL IMAGE AND INFORMATION AND FOR REMOTE SUPPORT

The present invention relates to an apparatus for real-time interactive transmission of a medical image and information and for remote support, which allows real-time interactive transmission of a medical image and information between a practitioner (a person who actually performs medical acts) and a medical expert (a person who remotely supports the practitioner's medical acts) in the medical industry, whereby medical acts can be performed accurately and rapidly. The apparatus comprises: a practitioner device for obtaining and transmitting a medical image of a subject during a medical procedure by the practitioner, and displaying, in real time, an advice image and an advice voice transmitted by a remotely located medical expert on a device worn by the practitioner or a display device that can be observed by the practitioner; a repeater for transmitting the medical image obtained from the practitioner device to a remotely located medical expert terminal via a network and relaying the advice image and advice voice transmitted from the remotely located medical expert terminal to the practitioner device; and a medical expert terminal for displaying, on a screen, the medical image transmitted from the repeater via a network and transmitting the advice image and advice voice generated by medical expert's manipulation to the practitioner device via the network in real time.
