L'invention porte sur les outils et sur des procédés d'installation pour installer un extincteur automatique à l'intérieur d'une ouverture ou d'un trou traversant dans une paroi ou un plafond d'une zone à protéger. Les outils comprennent une surface de référence et un dispositif de mesure destiné à venir en contact avec un bâti d'extincteur automatique.
