AQUEOUS PIGMENT DISPERSION AND AQUEOUS INK

The present invention is: an aqueous pigment dispersion comprising at least a pigment, an anionic group-containing organic polymer compound, and bio-nanofibers having a mean diameter of 1 to 100 nm and an aspect ratio of 100 or higher; and an aqueous ink for which such aqueous pigment dispersion is used. Preferably, the bio-nanofibers are cellulose nanofibers or chitosan nanofibers, and the anionic group-containing organic polymer compound is at least one species selected from the group consisting of acrylic-based resins having an anionic group, polyurethane-based resins having an anionic group, and polysaccharide derivatives having an anionic group.
