The composition is suitable for use in construction materials for waterproofing, sealing and/or otherwise covering construction surfaces. For example, the composition may be formed into a self-adhesive roofing material that partially adheres to an underlying substrate surface. La présente invention concerne une composition d'asphalte modifiée par un polymère comportant de l'asphalte, une huile, une résine à pouvoir collant, un additif polymère et un ionomère. La composition est appropriée pour une utilisation dans des matériaux de construction d'imperméabilisation, et/ou d'étanchéité d'autres surfaces de construction recouvrantes. Par exemple, la composition peut être formée dans un matériau de toiture auto-adhésive qui adhère partiellement à la surface de substrat sous-jacente.
