Zusammenfassung:A method for identifying and/or quantitatively determining organic and inorganic compounds in electrolyte solutions with the aid of Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering - SERS) by adsorption of the compounds being analyzed on the surface of an electrode made from a SERS-active metal, which is placed into a solution comprising the components being analyzed and soluble salts of the SERS-active metal, wherein the electrode activity is controlled by changing the surface concentration of the SERS-active centres - adatoms of the SERS-active metal, which is carried out by electrodeposition or electrodissolution of the SERS-active metal by electrochemical methods in such a manner that the micro-relief and other current properties of the surface itself remain unchanged. The quantitative value of the concentration of impurities being analyzed is determined by comparing the optical signal of the SERS activity of the impurities with a signal of the individual activity of the adatoms of the SERS-active metal in the case of a plurality of (not less than two) different values of the concentration of adatoms. Furthermore, an indeterminacy of the values of the concentration of the impurities being analyzed, caused by instability of the surface activity of the electrode and by an indeterminacy of the contribution of various signal-magnifying mechanisms, is eliminated by standardizing methods (in the simplest case of segmentation) on previously known SERS sections with adatoms of the SERS-active metal and the impurities being analyzed or with the aid of calibrated curves of an adatomic constituent. An improvement in the qualitative analysis characteristics is achieved by a differential regime of producing the data or by using kinetic characteristics providing additional identification characteristics.
