Reel (1) for holding a winding material (5), which reel (1) has a revolving body (4) with a first and a second flange (2,3), wherein the first flange (2) has a recess (6) at the position of an edge of the flange and further comprises a tongue (7) which lies against an outer surface of the flange and is connected to the flange, wherein a second tongue end (10) protrudes beyond the edge and wherein the tongue (7) has a flexibility such that an end of the winding material is provided so as to extend through the recess (6) to a position between the tongue (7) and the flange (2) in order to be clamped therebetween. Bobine (1) destinée à supporter un matériau à enrouler (5), ladite bobine (1) comprenant un corps rotatif (4) pourvu d'une première et d'une seconde joue (2, 3), la première joue (2) possédant un évidement (6) ménagé dans un bord de la joue ainsi qu'une languette (7) reposant contre une surface externe de la joue et reliée à ladite joue. Une seconde extrémité (10) de la languette fait saillie au-delà du bord et la languette (7) présente une flexibilité telle qu'une extrémité du matériau à enrouler est amenée à traverser l'évidement (6) jusqu'à une position dans laquelle ladite extrémité est pincée entre la languette (7) et la joue (2).
