Zusammenfassung:	Systems and methods for modem control based on feedback are disclosed. In one embodiment, a modem observer module is associated with software within a computing device. The modem observer receives information from the modem relating to uplink bandwidth availability and/or network conditions that may impact uplink bandwidth. Based on the uplink bandwidth availability at the modem, the modem observer may throttle or limit the number of connections that are active by the applications. La présente invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés permettant le contrôle d'un modem sur la base d'une rétroaction. Dans un mode de réalisation, un module observateur de modem est associé à un logiciel à l'intérieur d'un dispositif informatique. L'observateur de modem reçoit des informations à partir du modem concernant une disponibilité de bande passante de liaison montante et/ou des conditions de réseaux qui peuvent impacter une bande passante de liaison montante.
