Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von Prozessinformationen zu einem Garvorgang, der in einem Gargerät abläuft, wobei eine multifunktionale Anzeigefläche (10) verwendet wird, die in einen Hauptanzeigebereich (12) und mindestens zwei Nebenanzeigebereiche (22, 24, 26, 28) unterteilt wird, wobei im Hauptanzeigebereich (12) ein säulenartiges Anzeigeelement (14) dargestellt wird, das Informationen über einen Feuchtigkeitsgehalt einer Garraumatmosphäre in einem Garraum des Gargeräts sowie Informationen über die Temperatur der Garraumatmosphäre enthält, wobei die Feuchtigkeitsinformation nach Art einer Anzeigetrommel (16) und die Temperaturinformation nach Art einer Temperatursäule (20) auf der Anzeigetrommel (16) dargestellt wird und wobei die Feuchtigkeitsinformation in Abhängigkeit von der Feuchtigkeit und der Temperatur zusätzlich als Farbinformation dargestellt wird.
