La présente invention concerne un composé qui est un inhibiteur du processus de transduction d'énergie cellulaire, de préférence un anesthésique local, destiné à être utilisé dans la thérapie anticancéreuse ou destiné à être utilisé dans la prévention de récidive de cancer. Éventuellement, l'anesthésique local est utilisé en association avec un inhibiteur d'autophagie.
