The invention also provides a process for the preparation of saroglitazar. The invention further provides intermediates as well process for preparation thereof. La présente invention concerne pyrroles présentant des activités hypocholestérolémiques hypolipidémiques. L'invention concerne le saroglitazar et ses sels, hydrates, solvates, polymorphes ou intermédiaires pharmaceutiquement acceptables. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de préparation du saroglitazar. En outre, l'invention concerne les intermédiaires du saroglitazar, ainsi qu'un procédé de préparation de ceux-ci.
