CDK8 INHIBITORS AND USES THEREOF

The present invention provides methods of using compounds of formula (I) and compositions thereof for the inhibition of CDK8, and the treatment of CDK8-mediated disorders. Compounds of the present invention, and pharmaceutically acceptable compositions thereof, are useful for treating a variety of diseases, disorders or conditions, associated with regulation of signaling pathways implicating CDK8 kinases. Such diseases, disorders, or conditions include those described herein. Compounds provided by this invention are also useful for the study of CDK8 enzymes in biological and pathological phenomena; the study of intracellular signal transduction pathways occurring in bodily tissues; and the comparative evaluation of new CDK8 inhibitors or other regulators of kinases, signaling pathways, and cytokine levels in vitro or in vivo.
