Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to the petrochemical or oil refining industry and can be used in production of oil-based plasticizers for synthetic rubber and tyres. In the method for producing a non-carcinogenic aromatic process oil containing less than 3.0% of PCA extract according to the IP-346 technique, said method comprising purifying oil fractions of petroleum with selective solvents and separating the extract of the selective oil purification, additionally treating the extract with a polar solvent and producing a raffinate as the end product, propylene carbonate is used as the polar solvent for treating the feedstock, wherein the feedstock is a mixture of the extract of the selective oil purification obtained in the oil fraction purification step, and a hot raffinate solution obtained in the additional treatment step, a part of the raffinate solution obtained as a result of the additional treatment is sent for mixing with the extract of the selective oil purification, and the remaining balance of the raffinate solution is directed to a step for regeneration of the solvent from the raffinate solution, and the extract solution obtained in the additional treatment step is directed to a step for regeneration of the solvent from the extract solution. The ratio of the feedstock and the polar solvent at the additional treatment step is in the range (0.67-0.2):1. The technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of the process by virtue of the reduction of time lag of the extractor, increasing the process selectivity, and by simplifying the regeneration of the extractant from the raffinate solution due to eliminating a paraffin- and naphthene-based solvent.
