METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR REMOTE CONNECTION

A method and system for establishing a helpdesk session between a subscriber device and a customer support representative (CSR) device following a request for a helpdesk session. The system issuing, on receipt on said request, a credential pair comprising subscriber credentials for a subscriber device and CSR credentials for a CSR device which is paired with the subscriber device. The subscriber credentials are transferred to the subscriber device and the CSR credentials are transferred to the CSR device. The subscriber and CSR credentials are then transferred to a core node for authentication. If the credentials are authentic the helpdesk session between the paired subscriber device and the CSR device is established. La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système destinés à établir une session d'assistance entre un dispositif abonné et un dispositif de représentant de support client (CSR) à la suite d'une demande de session d'assistance. Le système émet, à la réception de ladite demande, une paire de justificatifs d'identité comprenant des justificatifs d'identité d'abonné pour un dispositif abonné et des justificatifs d'identité CSR pour un dispositif CSR qui est apparié au dispositif abonné. Les justificatifs d'identité d'abonné sont transférés au dispositif abonné et les justificatifs d'identité CSR sont transférés au dispositif CSR. Les justificatifs d'identité d'abonné et CSR sont ensuite transférés à un nœud central pour authentification. Si les justificatifs d'identité sont authentiques, la session d'assistance entre le dispositif abonné apparié et le dispositif CSR est établie.
