This coffee beverage comprises Components (A) and (B): (A) less than 0.1 ppm by mass of acetylmethyl pyrrole (B) dicaffeoyl quinic acids and the mass ratio [(A)/(B)] of Component (A) to Component (B) is not more than 0.00055. L'invention fournit une boisson au café inhibant les flaveurs étrangères, et présentant une amertume intense ainsi qu'un arôme satisfaisant en bouche. La boisson au café contient les composants (A) et (B) suivants : (A) un acétyl méthyl pyrrole à raison de 0,1ppm en masse au maximum ; et (B) un acide dicaféoylquinique.
