Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a method for the utilization of motor vehicle waste heat and comprising the following steps: 1. after vehicle ignition, conducting a part of the heat of tail gas of the internal combustion engine to the hot face of a first thermoelectric power generation element while at the same time continually reducing the temperature of the cold face thereof, said first thermoelectric power generation element thus generating electricity; 2. when vehicle water temperature exceeds 80℃, conducting a part of the heat of the cooling water of the internal combustion engine to the hot face of a second thermoelectric power generation element while at the same time continually reducing the temperature of the cold face thereof, said second thermoelectric power generation element thus generating electricity; 3. causing current generated by step 1 and step 2 to pass through a voltage adapter to charge a vehicle storage battery.
