Proceso de reciclado de materiales metálicos granulados conteniendo impurezas superficiales, que combina un subproceso 1 y un subproceso 2, donde en el subproceso 1 se produce la eliminación parcial del material contaminante mediante calentamiento del material de partida hasta una temperatura inferior o igual a 300ºC, en atmósfera oxidante controlada; y en el subproceso 2, en atmósfera inerte, se calienta el material hasta 400-550ºC y se eliminan restos de material contaminante que aún quedan por un efecto combinado térmico-mecánico.
