Zusammenfassung:	A chest compression monitor for measuring the depth of chest compressions achieved during CPR. A sensor of the chest compression monitor is disposed within its housing such that compression of the housing due to CPR compressions, and its resultant deformation, is detected by the sensor and used by the control system as the starting point for calculating chest compression depth based on an acceleration signal indicative of the downward displacement of the chest. L'invention concerne un moniteur de compression thoracique permettant de mesurer la profondeur de compressions thoraciques pendant une réanimation cardio-pulmonaire. Un capteur du moniteur de compression thoracique est disposé dans son boîtier de sorte que la compression du boîtier due à des compressions de réanimation cardio-pulmonaire, et la déformation qui en résulte, soient détectées par le capteur et utilisées par le système de commande comme point de départ afin de calculer la profondeur de compression thoracique en fonction d'un signal d'accélération indiquant le déplacement vers le bas de la poitrine.
